Read MoreThe historic Anglebury House Restaurant and bar is set in the heart of the Dorset market town of Wareham, UK, providing bed and breakfast guest house accommodation.
The house dating from the 16th century was originally built in 1550 one of the few buildings to survive the devastating fire in 1762. The guest house in Wareham has retained its old worldly charm together with lots of original features and its centuries old traditions, offers a warm and friendly welcome.We are also the home of Wareham 41 Club.
The Anglebury has survived for some 450 years and we hope to continue to make those who come and stay with us, both a part of its history, as well as allowing it to occupy a special place in your heart.

Monkey World was set up in 1987 by Jim Cronin to provide abused Spanish beach chimps with a permanent, stable home. Today Monkey World works in conjunction with foreign governments from all over the world to stop the illegal smuggling of apes out of Africa and Asia. At the park visitors can see more than 240 primates of 15 different species.Purbeck Cycle Rides There are seven cycle rides around the area which are suitable for a variety of ages and abilities, ranging from 8 to 47 miles.Five of the rides are self-guided with two being signposted. They all have an accompanying leaflet with a map.
